Soccer: Duluth FC makes region final

Duluth FC will face host AFC Ann Arbor at 6:30 p.m. today in the National Premier Soccer League Midwest Region final at Huron High School's Riverbank Stadium following a 2-1 victory over Minneapolis City FC on Friday in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Ricardo Ramos scored the game-winning goal via a penalty kick in extra time. Former St. Scholastica standout Kyle Farrar gave Duluth an early 1-0 lead before Minneapolis City netted the equalizer in the 37th minute.

Ann Arbor edged Cleveland SC 1-0 in the day's second semifinal.
