Brian is a seasoned lobbyist and public policy strategist with more than 25 years of experience in governmental affairs and legislative advocacy.

Brian’s policy expertise spans a diverse set of issues including offshore wind, renewable energy, transportation and supply chain, utilities, land use, oil and gas, water and natural resources, education, workforce preparation, and career technology. He plays a key role in KP’s state budget practice, develops strategic advocacy initiatives to impact public policy, and advocates on complex regulatory matters before state agencies.

He was an in-house legislative advocate for leading industry groups such as the California Building Industry Association and California Chamber of Commerce. Brian was also appointed by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to serve as Assistant Director of Legislative Affairs for the California Department of Water Resources.
